The kanban board is a new way of displaying and managing your prospect pipeline. It’s a highly visual screen found throughout many CRMs, listing all deals in an interactive table format, with each column representing a status within the pipeline.

What’s the benefit to our users?

A kanban board is a significantly quicker way of viewing pipeline funnels and updating the statuses of your deals. The visual presentation helps the team prioritize what to work on next. It also helps executives and salespeople track and manage deal progress, status and likelihood of closing. Each column on your customisable board represents a stage in your fund’s investor lifecycle, whether you’re raising or retaining capital.

The kanban board allows you to do the following:

  • Add a new deal: linking this to the company created in your CRM; deal amount; source of deal; probability of deal being made etc.

  • Use the 'tag' feature to customise your deals with further notes when editing your deal. This is really useful to remind yourself upcoming actions. For example, a dinner with a client.

  • By clicking a specific deal, then choosing view deal, you can edit and add to your deal. For instance, if you would like to note down a task or add any documents (legal documents).

  • Export your deals, made in your Fundportal, into an excel sheet by clicking the 'Export Deals' button.

  • Move around your deals smoothly, by dragging and dropping to the correct position on the kanban board. Allowing you to keep track of what the current progress is with your deals.
