As you will see, everything in the portal is easily customisable. Each box has a small edit button on the top right, which gives you access to the 'editing area' for almost everything in your Fundportal.

1. Branding and Customising your Fundportal

You can customise your FundPortal by navigating to the left hand side, scrolling down to Data management and Settings > Portal Settings > Portal Branding.

Here, you can make sure your FundPortal is aligned with your brand. By adding a logo and choosing your colours (the tool bar used hex colour codes) for the header background; section headings; line graphs; buttons and links; navigation state.

You can also update your disclaimers (Please make sure you check with your lawyer that they are according to the regulations) by going to portal Settings > legal Disclaimer's.

You also may want to set up a button on your website too, as a 'Login' or 'Investor Access' button. To do this, go to your Portal settings > Portal Branding > Click the button in the right hand corner. This will provide you with a link that can be imbedded into your website.

All domains contain "fundportal.io", however you are free to choose a prefix.

2. Customising your Company's information

You're only a couple of steps away from your completed Edgefolio profile. A good place to start is to add some management company information.

Just navigate to your Management Company (by clicking on your 'funds' tab) and click the pencil tool in the top right of the management company overview box to get started.

Here, you can fill out some high-level data including your company name, company description and address. Next, enter in some operational information and your contact details. The email address provided in the contact details is important as it will be used as the outgoing email address for messaging your Fund Portal clients. Any investors you are connected with, will also be able to contact you using the information provided here.

3. Customising your Fund's Information

Step 1: Enter your strategy information

Start by entering your fund information, including the name, strategy description, AUM & domicile.

Next, enter in your 'Investment Strategy' - hone in on the strategy by adding a 'Methodology' and finally, select your target region.

In the Benchmarks section, select your required benchmark from the drop-down menu. Can't find what you're looking for? Browse through our list of 70,000+ additional benchmarks here.

We use your second preferred benchmark and risk-free index for our advanced risk & return analysis - so make sure to enter these too!

Step 2: Enter in stakeholder information

Add biographies for your investment and operational team, details of your service providers, and limited partners.

Step 3: Add a share class

Fill out a share class's purchase terms. You can add, delete and edit share classes later on, on your fund's profile page.

Go to your overview tab, and you will find Share Class at the top. By clicking the + this will allow you to add a share class.

Step 4: Add your performance

Fill out share class returns since inception. We have a handy option to upload by CSV - just download our template and re-upload with your returns!

Need to update recent performance only? Navigate to our monthly returns form to update performance for all your funds for the most recent 3 months only.

You're all set up now! Click 'Update' and proceed to the next page to view your fund profile.
