summary: join the edgeful Discord community to access daily live sessions, market updates, and connect with other traders.
the edgeful Discord is where the community lives. it's where you'll find daily live sessions, market context, announcements, and conversations with other traders using the platform. it's free to join for all edgeful members.
how to access discord
the invite link is in the edgeful platform — no need to hunt for it.
log into edgeful
look for the Discord icon or link in the left navigation bar
click it to open the invite link and join the server
if you're already a Discord member, it'll add the edgeful server to your existing account.
which channels need all access — and which don't
every edgeful member can see almost every channel in the server. the only channels behind a paywall are 3 private algo channels.
any edgeful plan gets you:
all education channels (#how-to-use-edgeful, #livestream-schedule, #new-features, #report-explainer-videos, #tradingview-indicators)
all general channels (#chat, #profits, #announcements, #reviews, #support, #quote-of-the-day)
the trading stage for daily live sessions
2 algo preview channels: #algos-welcome-video, #access-private-algos-discord
all access unlocks:
#algo-automation-faq
#algos-settings
#algos-trading-stage
if you're not on all access and want the private algo channels, see all access plan — what you get and who it's for.
what's in the server
the server is organized into a few sections. here's what's in each one.
education
#how-to-use-edgeful — platform walkthroughs and guides for getting up to speed.
#livestream-schedule — where the daily live session times are posted. check here to know when to show up.
#new-features — announcements for platform updates and new reports as they're released.
#report-explainer-videos — video walkthroughs for individual reports. useful when you're learning a new report and want to see it in action.
#tradingview-indicators — resources and info for the edgeful TradingView indicators.
general
#chat — the main community channel. ask questions, share setups, and connect with other traders.
#profits — where members share winning trades and results.
#announcements — official updates from the edgeful team. check here first if something's changed on the platform.
#reviews — member feedback and reviews of the platform.
#support — for questions about your account, billing, or anything platform-related.
#quote-of-the-day — daily trading mindset content.
trading stage — the voice stage where daily live sessions are hosted. see below for details.
algos
all members can see 2 channels in the algos section:
#algos-welcome-video — an overview of the algos product and how to upgrade if you're interested.
#access-private-algos-discord — instructions for unlocking the private algo channels once you have an all access subscription.
the remaining algo channels — #algo-automation-faq, #algos-settings, and #algos-trading-stage — are only accessible to members with an active all access subscription.
how to request access to the private algo channels
before you do anything here, you need to have already joined the main edgeful Discord server. if you haven't done that yet, follow the steps at the top of this article first — you can't request algo channel access until you're in the server.
once you're in the Discord server:
click Discord Access in the left navigation bar
enter your Discord username in the text field
click update
that's it. the private algo channels should appear in your Discord server list within a few minutes.
finding your Discord username
this is the most common issue — entering an email address or display name instead of your actual Discord username. they're not the same thing.
to find your Discord username:
open Discord
click your profile icon in the bottom left corner
you'll see your display name at the top — that's not what you need
underneath the display name, you'll see your username — that's the one you want
enter that username — not your email, not your display name — into the edgeful algo Discord username field.
troubleshooting algo channel access
"failed to update Discord access" error — this almost always means one of two things:
you haven't joined the main edgeful Discord server yet. go back to the top of this article, join the server first, then come back and try again.
you're entering your email address or display name instead of your Discord username. check the section above to find your actual username.
I joined but don't see the algo channels — open Discord, go to the edgeful server, and click Browse Channels. make sure the algo channels are checked/visible. if they're still not showing, wait a few minutes and refresh.
I'm on the all access plan but it still won't work — reach out through the in-app support chat on edgeful. include your Discord username so we can look into it on our end.
daily live sessions
edgeful hosts live streams every market day on YouTube — hosted by André, James, and Zinc. the streams are educational — the team walks through their trading process using the edgeful platform, so you can see how to build a bias and find setups using the data.
no buy/sell signals are given. the streams are about teaching the process, not telling you what to trade.
no all access subscription required. all edgeful members can watch the live sessions regardless of plan.
check #livestream-schedule and #announcements for that day's session time and link.
for the full weekly schedule, host breakdown, and where to watch — see the dedicated article: edgeful TV — live streams and weekly schedule.
a note on discord dms
edgeful will never DM you on Discord — not from André, not from any team member, not from the official edgeful account. if you receive a direct message claiming to be from edgeful, it's a scam. don't engage with it. use Discord's report feature to flag the account and block the sender.
all official edgeful communication happens through the server's public channels or through the in-app support chat on the platform.
having trouble joining?
a few things that come up:
the invite link isn't working — first, try manually entering the invite code instead of clicking the link. open Discord, click Add a Server, select Join a Server, and paste or type the invite code directly. this bypasses most link-click issues and typically works. if you're still unable to join, reach out via the in-app chat and we'll send you a fresh invite.
I joined but can't see any channels — this usually means you haven't completed Discord's server onboarding flow. scroll up to the top of the channel list and look for any prompts or rules you need to accept to gain full access.
I was removed from the server — Discord removals happen when a member's edgeful subscription has lapsed or when a server rule has been violated. if you think there's been a mistake, reach out through the in-app support chat and we can look into it.
I was previously banned — if you've been banned from the server at any point, the invite link will appear to fail even when it's valid. bans can result from a past rule violation or subscription lapse. reach out through the in-app support chat and we can review your case.
