Overview
Integrating your POS (Point of Sale) System with your Edify account unlocks your COGs reporting.
Available POS systems
Edify are currently able to integrate with:
Square
Lightspeed
Toast
Revel
GoodTill
SumUp
Micros
EposNow
Integrating Square or Lightspeed
If you have a Square or Lightspeed account it's possible to integrate the two systems directly in Edify.
Navigate to Settings > Sites
Hit edit next to any available site
Head to the “Linked POS” section and from the dropdown select your POS system
Click "Connect"
You’ll be redirected to the POS system website, where you’ll be able to authenticate Edify to pull your sales data
Once connected, you'll be taken back to Edify and see a "POS successfully connected" message
Let the Edify support team know you have completed this action, and they will link your Sites to your sites in Square
The POS integration works at a company level not a site level. This means it does not matter which site you select to complete the integration on - Edify will be able to pull every sites data. However the Edify team will need to match each Edify site to the respective POS site - so be sure to let them know once you're integrated.
Integrating other POS Systems
For POS Systems other than Square or Lightspeed the integration will be completed directly by the Edify engineering team. Please reach out to our Support team to kickstart this process.
Switching POS Systems
Important: If you're moving to a new POS system, Your previous POS data in your COGS and Homepage reports will be removed once you make the switch.
If you are switching to a new POS System the process will depend on the POS Systems you are switching to and from.
Disconnecting your current POS system
Square & Lightspeed - you can disconnect directly in Edify. Navigate to Settings > Sites > Edit.
Scroll to the "Linked POS" section and click "Disconnect".
This should be repeated for each site.
Other POS Systems - please contact our support team who will be able to disconnect the system for you.
Connecting your new POS system
Once you have disconnected your old POS system use the instructions above to connect a new system.
POS Integration FAQs
My reports are no longer showing any data from my POS system, what should I do?
If your POS integration stops working as expected (no sales data available in reports) check if the name of your company on your POS system was recently changed. Renaming your company in your POS system can cause the syncing issues. If this has happened please reach out to our Support team who can help get this resolved.

What happens if I change the name of a site on my POS system?
Changing the name of a site on your POS system won't affect your integration with Edify for the site. As long as the associated ID remains the same, we'll stay integrated.
What happens if I rename my business on my POS system?
Renaming a business on your POS system can cause issues with the Edify integration. If you have renamed your business and are seeing issues with your COGs reporting please reach out to our support team.
