Edusfere Software Overview

Upon logging in, you’ll land on the homepage. From here, you can:

  • View all of your courses, including shared and pinned ones

  • Click into any course, or use the left navigation pane

  • Create a new course

Creating a Course

When creating a course, you'll be prompted to enter:

  • Title

  • Description

  • Subject

  • Grade level

  • Any companion print titles

  • Relevant standards

You can provide as much or as little detail as you'd like; however, the more information you enter, the more accurately our AI will support you when building activities later.

Building Units

Once your course is set up, you can begin adding units. Each unit includes fields for:

  • Key ideas

  • Descriptions

  • Learning objectives

  • Any custom fields your Admin has added (such as "Enduring Understandings" or "Skills")

As with courses, more detailed input leads to more helpful AI-generated suggestions.

Creating Lessons and Activities

Within each unit, you can add lessons—either by importing existing ones or creating new ones from scratch in Edusfere. Lessons can include objectives, vocabulary, and activities.

Activities can be entered manually or generated using our Smart Assist feature. Just enter a brief description (or as much detail as you like), click Generate, and AI will use your course, unit, and lesson data to produce a tailored activity. You can fully edit, rearrange, or delete any AI-generated content.

Adding Materials

Materials can be added in various ways: write them in manually, attach existing files or videos, link to outside resources, or create new materials within Edusfere.

Flexible and Customizable Views

Inside any course, you'll see a summary view, with the option to dive deeper into each section. Every screen allows for drag-and-drop organization, and content can be continuously added or updated.

Sharing and Editing Tools

You can easily share your courses, print any materials, duplicate units, and copy or move lessons and activities—making it simple to adapt and reuse your content.

Calendar

You can build out your class schedules here. There are numerous views and options to get a quick look at your classes and events. You can make edits on the fly that only affect that day's lesson and make any necessary notes.

Student Groups

You can build out the demographics of the students who come together for the classes you teach.
