Microsoft SSO and OneDrive Integration is a new feature, so while this guide has been tested and should work well, please let us know if any problems arise and we’ll be sure to address them promptly.
Overview
Edusfere integrates with Microsoft 365 for single sign-on (SSO) and OneDrive file access. This guide walks your IT administrator through the one-time setup required to authorize Edusfere on your school’s Microsoft tenant.
Setup requires a Microsoft 365 Global Administrator or Application Administrator and typically takes less than five minutes.
What Your IT Admin Needs to Do
Schools with Microsoft 365 Education or Business tenants enforce strict user consent policies, meaning individual users cannot authorize third-party applications. A tenant administrator must grant consent once for the entire organization.
At the time of setup, we send Microsoft schools a step-by-step guide with additional details. If you haven't received this, or if your school switched to Microsoft after initial setup, please reach out to us and we can send more information.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do individual teachers need to do anything?
No. Once the admin grants tenant-wide consent, all users in the organization can sign in to Edusfere with their Microsoft account without any additional setup.
Can consent be revoked?
Yes. An admin can revoke consent at any time from the Azure Portal under Enterprise Applications › Edusfere › Properties.
What if our school uses Google Workspace instead?
Edusfere also supports Google SSO and Google Drive integration. Please reach out to us in the Help Center with any questions, or see our article Google Features in Edusfere for more information.
