Sometimes you know what you want — you just don’t have time to word it perfectly.
That’s exactly what Improve query is for. It takes your short or vague request and turns it into a clear, detailed prompt — so you get a better result on the first try, without repeating generations.
When to use it
Use this function when:
you can’t quite phrase the request,
you’re not sure what details to add,
you need a good prompt fast.
Skip it when:
your prompt is already precise and the wording matters (auto-rewrites can slightly shift meaning),
your prompt contains content that must stay unchanged — for example, a long word list or a ready-made exercise you want the AI to follow closely.
How it works
The assistant rewrites your prompt while keeping your original idea.
You can still edit the improved version manually before generating.
Where to find it
Open Personal materials → New exercise builder.
Click Generate lesson, or open any AI-powered template.
Type your prompt.
Click Improve query.
Note: the Improve prompt button becomes active only after you start typing.
Automatic query improvement is available with the AI+ subscription.
Each click on Improve query costs 20 tokens — the same as other text-based AI actions.
Token usage depends on how many times you click Improve prompt. For example:
Improve prompt × 3 = 60 tokens
Generate exercise × 1 = 20 tokens
Total: 80 tokens
