Exercises for putting words and phrases in the correct order

Updated over a year ago

Use this template for word order exercises. To use it, simply enter the words or phrases in the correct order, separated by forward slashes '/'. For example, you could enter the sentence "We moved to California last year" as "We/moved/to/California/last year".

If you want to add more than one sentence to the exercise, simply click "Add a sentence". The platform will mix up the word order automatically, and your students will need to drag and drop the words into the correct order.

Pro tip

You can also use this template to practice different grammar items, such as adverbs of frequency or the order of adjectives. Just enter the words or phrases in the correct order and let the platform mix them up for your students to rearrange.
