How does the payment balance work?

Understand why you did not receive a (full) reimbursement.

Updated yesterday

Some drivers received an duplicate payment due to a bank issue on June 30th 2025. Instead of asking you to pay it back, we use our payment balance system. Your balance keeps track of what you’re owed minus any overpayment.

  • If your balance is zero or positive, you get your full payment.

  • If your balance is negative, we use your payment to reduce that negative amount. We do this automatically.

What will I get paid?

▸ Full payment

Your balance was zero or positive.

No old overpayment to fix, so you received your full home charging payment.

▸ Partial payment

You had a negative balance from an earlier extra payment. Part of this month’s reimbursement was used to reduce that negative balance.

Example:

  • Starting balance: -€70

  • Usual payment: €100

  • Paid now: €30

  • New balance: €0

You will get paid in full for the next reimbursement.

▸ No payment

Your negative balance was too big to pay you this month. We used your full reimbursement to reduce what you owed.

Example:

  • Starting balance: -€150

  • Usual payment: €100

  • Paid now: €0

  • New balance: -€50

You will get paid in the future once your balance reaches zero.

Do I need to do anything?

No. You don’t need to do anything.

We keep track of your balance and adjust payments automatically. If your payment was partial or skipped, your email will show:

  • Amount paid.

  • Starting balance.

  • Ending balance.
