How do I block/deactivate a charge pass?

Learn how to temporarily or permanently disable the charge pass.

Via the platform you can manage the active cards and block them if needed..

Mark as inactive

To temporarily block the card, e.g. in case of temporary absence or loss:

  • Go to the Fleet overview page

  • Navigate to the Charge pass tab

  • Open the charge pass details

  • Click the edit button

  • Change the status. You can either select:

    • Inactive - Card can no longer be used

    • Lost - Card can no longer be used. Can also be set by the driver.

  • Confirm the action

Note: you can always change the status to Active again later.

Deactivate card

In case you want to permanently block the card, you can deactivate it.

  • Go to the Fleet overview page

  • Navigate to the Charge pass tab

  • Open the charge pass details

  • Click the trash icon

  • Click 'Deactivate' in the popup

The card will now no longer be usable by the driver. You will still be able to view the historical sessions that were authorised with this card.

Note: when disabling the charge pass permission, the card will also be deactivated.


You can assign a new charge pass at any time. Learn more here.

Good to know: it may take up to 24 hours for the card's status changes to be shared with all network operators. This means a card could still be seen as 'active'.
