Streaming to YouTube in Effi is easy, and you have the option to broadcast directly into a YouTube Event—a scheduled live stream on your channel with a set date, time, title, and description. YouTube Events let your audience plan to attend, keep your channel organized, and give you full control over your stream’s settings and engagement features. Follow the steps below to connect your channel and stream into an event seamlessly.
Open Destinations
Click the Destinations icon at the top right of the studio. Click the Destinations icon at the top right of the studio.
Add a New Channel
This will open a flyout with all the platforms you've already connected to. Whether you're streaming with Effi Studio or other streaming software (OBS, Wirecast, vMix), the connection process is the same.
Open the "Add new channels" dropdown and select YouTube.
Authorize Your YouTube Account
Follow the prompts to log in and authorize your YouTube account.
Once complete, your channel name will appear with a green toggle, indicating it’s connected.
Select Your Event
After connecting, a dropdown menu will list your scheduled YouTube events.
Select the event you want to stream into.
Now you’re ready to start streaming into your YouTube event! You can use the same steps to connect other platforms—each platform works the same way.
