Connecting to platforms is easy in Effi, just follow these steps and you'll be ready to broadcast to YouTube.

Connect to YouTube

Click the Destinations icon at the top right of the studio.

This will open a flyout with all the platforms you've already connected to. Whether you are streaming with our Studio or other streaming software (OBS, Wirecast, vMix), you will connect the same way: by opening the "Add new channels" dropdown.

Choose YouTube, and follow the steps to authorize. Once complete, you will see your channel name with a green toggle next to it - indicating the channel is connected.

You will also notice the YouTube icon pop up next to the stream destinations icon at the top of the studio, indicating that it's connected.

Once you connect YouTube you will see a space to fill in options like Event Title, Description, and more. These settings will be what's shown to your viewers on YouTube.

πŸ“ You can add as many channels for the same platform as you'd like. For example, if you want to stream to multiple YouTube channels, you will follow the same steps as above but choose a different account to authorize into.

Now that you've mastered connecting YouTube to Effi, you can use the same steps to connect any other platform you'd like to stream to. Each platform connects the same exact way so you can set your destinations easily and get to streaming.
