One of the most exciting things about live content is sometimes it's unpredictable. You can plan and build, but things come up and you need the flexibility to make changes on the fly. Luckily, Effi allows you to make changes at any time, even if your event has already gone live.
When a scene is live and visible to your viewers you’ll still be able to make changes like adding a new element or image.
📌 Just be aware that if your scene is live, any changes you make to that scene will be visible to your audience in real time. So if you are not ready for them to see it right away you might consider duplicating the scene, making the changes there, and then setting it live when you're ready.
If you want to make some simple changes like adding an image or even an element, that’s easy enough to do in the live scene. If you want to make some bigger changes like adding a new guest, you also have the option of simply duplicating the scene and making your changes there.
Duplicating a Scene
Hover over the scene you'd like to duplicate to view the quick action menu. From the menu select "Duplicate."
This will create an exactly replica of your scene. If you've duplicated a scene that is currently live, only the original will be live.
Just like with any other scene, when you are ready for your audience to see it, just press "Show Scene."
