As a remote guest in a broadcast, there may be situations where you might want to turn off your camera. Whether you need to step away briefly, handle a distraction, or troubleshoot an issue, turning off your camera can help you manage things privately without affecting the live broadcast. However, it’s important to make sure that turning off your camera won’t disrupt the flow of the show.

Before turning off your camera, you should always get permission from someone managing the broadcast—like the host or producer—to ensure it won’t interfere with the live event.

At the bottom of the Greenroom, you will see a camera button, all you need to do is click that to turn it off.

When you turn your camera off, a default avatar consisting of your initials or an avatar uploaded by the person managing the event will take its place.

By coordinating with the broadcast team, you can manage your camera without disrupting the event’s flow.
