The Trends page offers two powerful tools for comparing events: the graph and the compare table. Both methods allow you to gain valuable insights into how different events performed across key metrics.
Comparing Events Using the Graph
The graph on the Trends page lets you visualize performance trends over time and spot patterns or trends (hence the name):
Select the time period for the events you want to display or custom to select individual events.
Choose specific metrics, such as "Total Chatters" or "Total Elements" to focus on. The graph will update to reflect the selected metrics for all chosen events.
The final steps is to analyze trends. Observe how the metrics change over time for each event. Look for patterns, spikes, or declines to understand the factors influencing performance.
Comparing Events Using the Compare Table
The compare table provides a side-by-side breakdown of metrics for selected events. It will automatically update based on the events you chose in the section above, you don't need to choose again — it's just another way to look at your data.
Scroll down to the bottom of the Trends page to view the table.
In the table you will be able to see a comparative view of your events side-by-side. You can see things like number of messages, number of viewers, how many votes your elements received, and more. It's a clear and easy way to see how your events stacked up against each other.
Tips for Effective Event Comparisons
Use Both Tools: Combine insights from the graph and compare table to get a complete picture of your events’ performance.
Focus on Key Metrics: Prioritize the metrics most relevant to your goals, whether it’s engagement, reach, or other factors.
Identify Patterns: Look for trends across events, such as recurring peaks or consistent growth, to refine your content strategy.
With the Trends page’s comparison tools, you can uncover actionable insights to improve your future events and drive better results.
