Create multiple shifts at once

You can quickly create multiple shifts in one go. Read more about it in this article.

There are different ways to create multiple shifts at once. This can be useful in different situations.

You don't have to repeat this every week. You can easily create templates and load them into the schedule.


Create the same open shift multiple times on the same day

Example: Café Eitje needs two people in service every Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  1. Navigate to a day on the planning and click on 'Create shift'. A window will now open with a new shift.

  2. Under 'Shift on day(s)', select the day on which you want to create multiple shifts.

  3. Select the amount of shifts you want to create under 'Amount'.

  4. Fill out the rest of the fields and click 'Save'.


Create the same open shift on multiple days

Example: Café Eitje needs someone in the kitchen every Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

  1. Navigate to a day on the planning and click on 'Create shift'. A window will now open with a new shift.

  2. Select the desired days under 'Shift on day(s)'

  3. Fill out the rest of the fields and click 'Save'.


Create multiple shifts with the same team member

Example: Hannah works every Monday to Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the bar of Café eitje.

  1. Navigate to a day on the planning and click on 'Create shift'. A window will now open with a new shift.

  2. Select the desired team member on the right.

  3. Under 'Shift on day(s)', select the days that this team member works.

  4. Fill out all the rest of the fields and click 'Save'.
