Add and manage venues

This article explains how to add a new venue to your organisation, and how to change your venue's name.

Do you want to add a new location to your current account? You can create a new 'venue'. In some rare cases it's more efficient to work with teams instead of venues. Wondering what works better for you? This article explains the differences in more detail.


Add a new venue

Is your business already activated in Eitje, but are you ready to add a second location? Here's how to do it:

  • Navigate to 'Team' in the main menu and go to 'Teams'.

  • In the top left you see your company name and a button with three dots.

  • Click this button and choose 'Add venue'.

    ⚠️ Note: if you already work with multiple venues, use 'Team' in the main menu to navigate to 'Venues and teams', where you will find a button '+Venue' on top of the page.

  • A new window will open. Add a name for the new venue.

  • You will automatically become the Admin for this new venue. If needed, you can select other team members to become an Admin too.

  • Click 'Save'.

  • Just 'Submit', and you're all set!

The venue has now been added to your account. The current page should show you an overview of your venues and teams. You can now add a team to your new venue. Click here for more information about adding teams.

Under 'Team' in the main menu on top you now find the option 'Venues and teams' where both can be managed. The new venue will also appear on several pages, including 'Planning', 'Hours', and 'Team'.

⚠️ Note: The billing and payment details of the venues are linked, creating one invoice for multiple venues. If you prefer separate invoices, use the menu in the top right corner > Company settings > Billing and invoices > Billing information. For more details, click here.

⚠️ Note: Do you want to add a new venue that is not linked to your current one, using your current email address? Please contact our Support team to get that done.



Manage venues

In addition to adding a venue, you can also change the name of an existing venue:

  • Use 'Team' in the main menu on top to go to 'Teams' (or: 'Venues and teams').

  • In the top left you see the venue name and a button with three dots.

  • Click this button and choose 'Edit venue'.

  • Change the name, and save.

Delete a venue

It is not possible to delete or deactivate a venue yourself. Please contact our support team for this. In the chat, during office hours, ask the chatbot to be connected to an agent.
