Edit a User Record

Guide to editing a user's record, including accessing tools and updating user information.

Introduction

As a Site Manager, you can edit a user's record in Elemeno.

Caution: If your instance of the Elemeno App uses your institution's Single Sign On authentication or provides us user lists via a data feed, changes that you make here may override information sent to us from those systems. Please check with your account management team if you have questions about User Management for your specific configuration.

Steps

Accessing User Management Tools

  1. To access the site Manager's Tools, go to the Profile drop-down menu and select "Site Manager's Tools"

  2. Select User Management in the left-hand navigation menu.

Accessing a User's Record

  1. Click on the pencil icon in the Edit column.

  2. Make updates as needed.

Field definitions:

  • First name - user's first name

  • Last name - user's last name

  • Primary Email - the email that was originally used to create the account for this user (do not edit)

  • Secondary Email - use this field to update the email this user will use to access Elemeno.

  • User Roles - As a Site Manager, you can provision other users with the Site Manager role. As a Site Manager, they can access and use the Site Manager's Tools.

  • Team - This is the team the user is associated with for reporting purposes.

  • Team View - Users can self-select a team's Home Page and team library to view. This is used when a user needs to see Announcements or other content for a specific team. More information on how users can change their team view can be found in our help system article,
