If you would like to proceed with closing your Elevault account, please first bring your total balance to $0 to ensure you have a much smoother (and quicker!) experience.
Then, when you're ready, contact our support team and we'll be able to help you close your account!
Before requesting closure
Bring your total balance to $0.
Your support rep will not be able to close your account if your total balance is above or below $0.00.
Make sure any remaining funds have been successfully transferred from your Vaults to an active Linked Account.
Tap the Move Money button at the bottom center of your Elevault dashboard.
Tap Linked Accounts.
Tap the ββ icon to ensure you are moving money from your Vault to your Linked Account.
Type in the full dollar amount using the number keypad.
Tap Move Money.
Note: If you have a negative balance in Elevault, before you can close your account, you will still need to bring your balance to $0 by moving money from your Linked Account to your Vault.
Closure checklist:
To ensure you don't have any issues with future transactions, such as autosaves, direct deposits, or bill payments, please review the following steps:
Delete any Scheduled Saves.
Open any Vault(s) you have Scheduled Saves enabled for.
Tap Edit in the top right corner.
Tap the green toggle to turn off Scheduled Saves.
Repeat for any additional Vaults you have Scheduled Saves with.
Turn off any VaultKeys.
Tap the key icon in the bottom right corner of your Elevault dashboard.
Tap VaultKeys to view any active VaultKeys.
In the Active VaultKeys section, tap one to open/edit it.
Tap the green toggle to turn this VaultKey off.
Tap Save.
Repeat for any additional VaultKey(s) you might have.
Leave any Shared Vaults.
Tap the three bars in the top left corner to view the Elevault menu.
Tap Vaults Shared with Me.
Tap the Vault you would like to remove yourself from.
Tap Shared With.
Tap Leave Vault.
Unlink all Linked Accounts.
Tap the three bars in the top left corner to view the Elevault menu.
Tap Linked Accounts.
Tap your Linked Account to open/manage it.
Tap Unlink This Account in red at the bottom center.
Contact us to close your account
