Generally, you receive an error message for either the branch number or the bank account:
If it's the branch number, remember that in any case it consists of only 4 (four) digits;
If it's the bank account digits, the number of numbers entered will depend on the financial institution.
Don't add spaces, dots or hyphens. Just numbers.
BANCO DO BRASIL/ NUBANK:
The field must be filled in with a total of 9 (nine) digits. Add leading zeros to complete the total of the field indicated.
BRADESCO:
The field must be filled in with 8 (eight) digits, adding zeros at the beginning until the total of the indicated field is completed.
OTHER BANKS:
We suggest trying 9 (nine) digits, if necessary add 0 (zeros) at the beginning until this value is complete.
