If the Google Map location verification is unable to locate the customer's address, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
The address is not correct.
The address does not include the house number.
The house is a new-build and not on Google Maps yet.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot this issue.
First, go to the customer's lead page and check if there are any street abbreviations like: Ct, Dr, Ave, etc. If there are any, it's best to spell them out. Ex: Ct > Court, or Dr > Drive.
Check the map on the upper right of the lead page and make sure the pin is on a house. If it is showing a parking lot (like the example below), a store, or in the middle of nowhere, go to the map, click on "confirm location" and pin the correct house. Then, click on "confirm location" again to save the changes.
If the home cannot be located in the map, it is likely because the house is either a new-build home or Google maps has not been updated to show this location. Latitude and longitude can be used to confirm location if needed.
