Enerflo Schedule & Google Calendar Appointments

How to sync Google Calendar with Enerflo for scheduling, manage rep availability by role, troubleshoot sync failures, and re-sync specific appointment types.

Calendars in Enerflo are used for scheduling a user's availability and are based on the user's role in the company. Calendars can reflect a user's personal schedule or a schedule based on their role — such as Admin, Sales Manager, etc. — where multiple schedules can be viewed on a single calendar. A user can access their personal schedule and assigned appointments by going to their profile menu and selecting My Schedule. Calendars based on user role are found in each role's menu. The company calendar is found under Your Roles > Sales Company > Scheduling.

When a Google Calendar is synced, Enerflo will push scheduled appointments to that calendar. You can also use the sync to manage rep availability by marking unavailable times on the associated Google Calendar — those time slots will be blocked when scheduling appointments.

Adding a Google Calendar to Enerflo

To populate appointments on your Enerflo calendar, it needs to be synced with a Google Calendar. To set this up:

  • Access your user profile menu and click Edit My Profile. About halfway down the page, you'll find the Manage Account Linking section with a blue Manage Calendars button. Click it to see the Google Calendars you have access to.

  • Click the blue Add Account button at the top of the page. This opens an OAuth flow to enter your Google credentials. Once connected, select the proper calendar(s) for your appointment schedule. A background process will populate appointments from Google into your Enerflo calendar — this may take a few moments.

  • When setting up your personal calendar, only select the Google calendar(s) you want to determine your availability. Any appointment on a user's personal calendar will block out that time and show them as busy/unavailable. It is not recommended to select teammates' calendars when setting up your personal schedule in Enerflo.

  • In order for Enerflo appointments to sync to Google, the user must have at least one calendar selected.

Appointments pulled in from Google will appear as "personal" on your Enerflo calendar. This is by design — it keeps your schedule private while still blocking that time for availability purposes. Appointments created directly in Enerflo will reflect the name of the Appointment Type configured in your instance.

Troubleshooting Sync Issues

General sync failure: If your calendar stops syncing, revisit Manage Calendars and check the connection status of your Google credentials. These connections can time out and may need to be refreshed.

A specific Appointment Type stops syncing: Go to Your Roles > Sales Company > Company Settings > Appointment Types, click Edit next to the affected Appointment Type, then click the Tools tab and select Re-sync.
