How to Resolve the "Unable to Create AI Design" Error in Enerflo
When working in Enerflo, users may encounter an "Unable to Create AI Design" error. This guide provides actionable steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue, along with alternative workflows if AI design creation is not possible.
Common Causes of the Error
Satellite Imaging Issues: Aerialytic requires specific satellite data (Nearmap or Google) to generate designs. If this imagery isn’t available for the location, design creation will fail. Org admins can require Nearmap usage, and in this case if it isn't available the design will not be possible. Note that seeing a property on Google Maps doesn’t guarantee Nearmap availability.
Misaligned Map Pin: Ensure that the pin on the map is centered directly over the target structure. Improper pin placement can cause the design tool to misidentify the building, leading to errors.
Alternative Solutions
Use the Design Team - If the AI could not run, the design team may still be able to create a manual design. This can happen particularly for new builds, where the map tool may have coverage but has not been updated to show new construction. Click "Send to Design Team" to start your request.
Switch to Another Design Tool in Enerflo - If Aerialytic is unavailable because there is no imagery, use another design tool integrated into your Enerflo account (e.g., Aurora). These alternatives can help complete your project seamlessly. If you do not have access to another design too in Enerflo, contact your manager or admin to see what they recommend.
Use Manual Design Uploads - Create the design outside of Enerflo using an external tool and upload it manually to your project. If the manual upload option is not visible, request your installer to enable this feature in their account settings.
