License Errors
LightReach requires a sales rep license number in certain states. If an application is submitted and the sales rep assigned to the deal does not have a license number entered, they will receive the following error: "Error response from LightReach API: 400 Bad Request: Cannot edit the account at this time. A Sales Rep License Number is required for this state"
To resolve this error, enter the sales rep's license number into their profile under the license section. To do this, follow the instructions in this article.
Once the license number is entered, an admin user can use the Restart Workflow function in the financing tab to push the update to LightReach and allow the application to be processed.
Excess Application Errors
LightReach limits the amount of applications that can be done in one day on an account. If you have submitted too many applications, you will see this error and be unable to proceed. Contact LightReach to try to resolve this error, or wait until the next day to try again.
Error: "An active quote already exists for this address"
This error occurs when a LightReach quote already exists for the property in the Palmetto portal — even if it is no longer active in Enerflo. Enerflo cannot override this; the existing quote must be cleared on the Palmetto side first.
To resolve:
Log in to the LightReach/Palmetto portal directly.
Locate the existing quote for that property address.
Void or cancel the existing quote.
Return to Enerflo and re-submit the application.
Frozen Credit
If the applicant's credit is frozen when applying, LightReach will decline the application. Follow the instructions in the error message to remove the freeze at the relevant credit bureau, and then resubmit the application. Ensure credit is unfrozen before resubmitting to avoid the excess application error described above.
Payment Cap
If a customer hits a monthly payment cap, three options will be surfaced in the error message: reduce system size, select a lower rate, or reapply with a co-signer. A co-signer can be added at the initial payment cap error or anytime before financing documents are signed.
Duplicate Email
The primary applicant, co-signer, and sales rep must each have a distinct email address, or an error will surface saying that applicants cannot share the same email. This now includes the assigned sales rep's email in addition to the primary applicant and co-signer.
To correct this:
Click the button to restart the application.
Change whichever email is duplicated — the customer's, the co-signer's, or the sales rep's profile email.
If this does not work, unfinalize the proposal, correct the duplicate email, refinalize, and have an admin user restart the financing workflow.
Change in Pricing
LightReach occasionally updates their pricing. If pricing is updated between proposal creation and application submission, an error will surface saying that the pricing must be re-saved before the application can be sent.
To correct this:
Return to the proposal stage and unfinalize the proposal.
Click Edit on the proposal you want to use, and then click save and update pricing.
Refinalize the proposal and return to the financing stage.
