Available Products
GoodLeap offers both loans and TPO products (PPA and lease). Availability is dependent on state, utility, and installer - not all products will be available for all installers in all markets.
Check the GoodLeap website for the most updated list: https://www.goodleap.com/homeowners
GoodLeap is an integrated financier, and products and rates pull directly from GoodLeap via API. To ensure access to the most up to date information, go to Settings > Pricing > Finance Options > (GoodLeap TPO or GoodLeap) and click Sync in the upper right.
GoodLeap Loans
Loans are available in all states for solar and solar + battery systems.
GoodLeap TPO
TPO projects come with additional restrictions on allowed equipment and setup. Please contact GoodLeap for additional information on what is allowed.
Effective 12/30/25, new submissions for ground-mounted systems are only eligible for loan financing or cash purchase. Ground-mounted systems are no longer permitted for TPO projects.
Ground-mounted systems are not eligible for domestic content pricing regardless of the racking, panels, or inverters used.
Any project that includes FEOC material and does not have a valid Notice to Proceed (NTP) issued on or before December 29, 2025, will not qualify for TPO funding.
Safe Harbor Equipment Requirement — all new submissions require Safe Harbor components
Battery Sizing Updates — sizing must now align to annual production relative to capacity thresholds
System Offset Cap:
≤110% → allowed
111–150% → requires signed homeowner acknowledgement + GoodLeap review
>150% → not permitted
Offset Validation — must use Origin / consumer agreement values (not design tool benchmarks)
Manufactured Homes — no longer eligible for new submissions
Sales reps must enter their Origin portal login in their integration settings on their user profile. Failure to add the login will result in this error:
"GoodLeap has informed us that the sales rep associated with this deal is not registered as a user in their platform. Please ensure the email in your GoodLeap user settings is correct or contact your GoodLeap administrator to add you as a user."
Domestic Content (DC) Pricing
GoodLeap TPO supports domestic content pricing, which can be controlled at two levels: org-wide and per proposal. Both toggles work in tandem — the org setting determines the default, and the proposal setting can override it for individual deals.
The org-level toggle is found in Settings > Org > Plugins > GoodLeap TPO Plugin. The proposal-level toggle appears on the proposal stage when GoodLeap TPO is selected as the financier.
The four combinations and their effect:
Org OFF / Proposal OFF — DC pricing is not available. Reps will not see a DC pricing option on proposals.
Org OFF / Proposal ON — DC pricing is not available. The proposal toggle has no effect when the org toggle is off.
Org ON / Proposal OFF — DC pricing is available at the org level, but disabled for this specific proposal. The rep will not see DC pricing on this deal.
Org ON / Proposal ON — DC pricing is fully enabled. The rep will see DC pricing options on the proposal.
In practice: turning the org toggle on makes DC pricing available across the org by default. Reps (or admins) can then use the proposal-level toggle to disable it on a per-deal basis where DC pricing doesn't apply.
Finance Application
GoodLeap applications can be completed within Enerflo, or emailed to the customer to complete on their own device for both loans and TPO products.
Change Orders
Changes to GoodLeap projects can be made by unfinalizing the proposal, editing as needed, and refinalizing. Upon finalization, any changes will be pushed over to the GoodLeap portal by API. Common areas for updates include equipment or design changes. Some changes will require customers to either reapply or sign new documents. Contact GoodLeap for additional clarification on allowed changes.
Switching between product types such as lease and PPA, or changing battery configurations from solar only to backup to energy shift (self consumption) will disconnect the previous approval and will not be eligible for a change order.
In case this happens accidentally, use the restore application feature to reconnect the approved application. See How To: Restore a Disconnected GoodLeap TPO Application for step-by-step instructions.
