IGS Is an integrated financier that offers a TPO product similar to other TPO providers.
You MUST use Aurora or Scanifly as your design tool in order to use IGS as a TPO provider.
Products and Availability
IGS offers leases and leases with production guarantees. The product shown is determined automatically by the deal's state — Florida deals are shown the standard Lease, while all other IGS states are shown Lease with Production Guarantee. This is not a user-selectable option; if the wrong product appears to be showing, verify the deal's state before contacting support.
Configuring A Sales Org IGS Hierarchy
If you have a hierarchy built out in IGS to ensure deals completed in Enerflo are attributed to the correct sales org, you will need to add the partner code of the sales org into the IGS plugin settings.
To do this, click Settings > Org > Plugins > IGS Solar Plugin
Under "Authorized Dealer" Settings, select the dealer and enter in their Sales Partner Code
If you don't have the sales partner code, it can be found by logging into IGS and clicking the hamburger menu and then Sales Channel and searching the sales organization name. Once the sales org is selected, the sales partner code shows at the end of the URL.
For example, in this url, it is SALESPARTNERCODE.
solar360.igssolarpower.com/app/#/v2?salesPartner{{SALESPARTNERCODE}}
Sales Rep Verification
To ensure deals created in Enerflo are associated with the correct sales rep in IGS, the sales rep needs to enter in their IGS Portal Login email into their integration settings. This can be entered in by visiting their user settings, clicking the integrations tab, and locating the "IGS Energy Settings" box.
However, this is not required to complete IGS Deals.
IGS Deal Flow
Create Proposal, view and edit if necessary, selecting the desired financing product, escalator, and financing rate. IGS will calculate their own production using Aurora and their own parameters to ensure it is accurate. This may cause minor differences in offset if comparing between lenders.
Note: It's expected for the production number on an IGS proposal to differ from the production shown on the Aurora design itself — not just between different lenders. IGS uses its own independent production methodology, separate from Enerflo's and Aurora's standard calculation. If the difference looks unusually large, contact IGS directly to understand their calculation approach for that system.
Submit the financing application on the financing stage.
After submission, an Opportunity Status block appears on the financing stage showing the active or inactive status of the deal in IGS. Use the Refresh button to sync the latest status if it has changed on the IGS side.
The project will be created in the IGS portal only after the application has been submitted.
Credit Check
An email is sent to the homeowner from IGS to complete the credit check on their own device. Once the credit check is complete, the stage will complete. The Resend button is always visible on this stage — click it any time to resend the credit check email if the homeowner didn't receive it or needs it resent.
Note: The credit check email is sent directly by IGS, not Enerflo. If the homeowner hasn't received it, have them check their spam folder. Use the IGS portal or contact IGS support directly if the email cannot be delivered.
Lease Contract Signing
When the credit check is complete, an email is sent to the homeowner from IGS with the lease contract to complete on their own device. Once the contract is signed, the stage will show as complete. The Resend button is always visible on this stage — click it any time to resend the contract email if the homeowner needs it again.
Contract Verification
IGS Account Verification
Once the contract is verified, an email is sent to the homeowner to create their account in IGS. Once completed, the status in Enerflo will again change, showing all stages are approved.
How IGS Calculates Savings
IGS derives its savings analysis using a formula based on the customer's first-year solar utility cost. The utility cost input for this calculation comes from the pre-solar rate on the consumption profile — not a separate rate lookup or forecaster call. If a customer's savings number looks off, check the pre-solar rate entered on the consumption profile first, since that number directly feeds IGS's pricing/savings output.
Change Order Syncing (Org Admins Only)
When a change order is made to a deal in IGS, org admins can sync those changes back into Enerflo. Once a sync is performed, Enerflo will no longer push deal data into IGS — IGS becomes the source of truth for that deal going forward.
When a sync is needed, an admin-only banner will appear on the deal in Enerflo. Only org admins and platform admins will see this banner.
To sync a change order:
Open the deal. If a change order is pending, an admin-only banner will indicate that a sync is available.
Click the sync action in the banner.
Enerflo will pull the updated deal data from IGS.
This is currently limited to IGS v2 deals. Support for v1 (hybrid) deals is coming in a follow-up update.
Common Troubleshooting
"Error calculating savings: No rate found for the chosen product" showing when creating a proposal. This indicates that domestic content is not enabled in IGS in the state where the deal is being run.
External Equipment Mapping Errors indicate one of the following:
Equipment has not been added to the IGS global list. Reach out to IGS for resolution.
Equipment is in IGS global list, but has not been enabled in the IGS Portal.
Equipment has been enabled in IGS portal, but not mapped correctly in Enerflo.
Domestic content qualification is determined by IGS, not Enerflo. IGS determines domestic content eligibility based on their own equipment data. If a customer's equipment appears to qualify but is showing as ineligible, contact IGS support directly — Enerflo cannot override IGS's domestic content determination.
Maximum offset enforcement — IGS enforces a maximum system offset cap on TPO deals: 105% of usage in all states except Rhode Island, where the cap is 100%. This is a hard limit enforced by IGS, not an admin-configurable setting. If a proposal or finalization fails with an error such as "This design exceeds the maximum 105% offset allowed for IGS TPO," reduce the system size/offset so it falls within the applicable cap for the customer's state, then re-attempt finalization. Note: the offset used for this enforcement is based on IGS's own design overrides — the production data IGS calculates independently.
Invalidated quote after an IGS pricing update — When IGS releases a pricing update, an existing quote on a deal may be invalidated. If this happens, Enerflo will surface an error prompting you to update pricing on the proposal. Click Update Pricing (or re-save the proposal) to generate a fresh quote reflecting current IGS pricing, then re-attempt finalization.
Recheck token errors — If you see a recheck-related error when loading IGS disclosures or pricing, re-open the financing step to trigger a fresh recheck token. If the error persists after retrying, contact Enerflo Support.
IGS Pricing Mismatch or Proposal Won't Finalize (Energy Community Map / Safe Harbor Date)
If an IGS proposal's pricing doesn't match expectations, or won't finalize, this can be caused by the org's Safe Harbor date not being set correctly in the IGS finance plugin settings. Without it, IGS references the wrong version of its Energy Community adder map.
To resolve:
In the IGS portal, find the account's Safe Harbor Target date (e.g., "Safe Harbor Target: 12/01/2025 - 45% DC Threshold").
In Enerflo, an admin can go to Settings > Plugins > IGS.
Enter the Safe Harbor Target date into the plugin settings.
Return to the proposal and click Update Pricing.
Re-attempt finalization.
