How to Delete a Lead, Deal, or User

How to delete leads, deals, and users in Enerflo, including required permissions, step-by-step instructions, and important caveats about data loss and active installs.

Deleting a Lead

⚠️ Important: If a lead is deleted, all records of that lead will be gone PERMANENTLY. This action cannot be reversed.

Common Reasons a Lead Might Need to Be Deleted

  1. The "Block Duplicate Address" setting is not enabled and a duplicate lead was created by accident.

  2. A user who works for multiple companies created a lead in the wrong account.

  3. The street address did not save correctly and a new lead was created — this often happens when the "Ignore Google Maps Address Correction" box is not checked.

  4. A bulk lead import from a CRM resulted in duplicated entries.

  5. A lead populated from a call center or CRM is creating a deal type that is no longer available.

Steps to Delete a Lead

As a sales rep:

  1. From the sales rep dashboard, click "Go to Leads."

  2. Search the customer's name, scroll to the far right of the table, and click the red trash can.

If the rep cannot do this, they will need to reach out to a company admin. Enerflo Support cannot delete leads.

As a company admin:

  1. From the main page, click "Leads."

  2. Search the customer's name, scroll to the far right of the table, and click the trash can.

Important Caveats

  • If a lead has a design, the lead cannot be deleted unless the deal is deleted first. Note that deleting a deal and submitting a new design request will result in being charged twice — this is generally not recommended unless there is no other option.

  • If the lead has an active install, the install must be canceled and the deal deleted before the lead can be removed. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the project milestone, so this is not recommended unless the situation requires it.

Deleting or Hiding a Deal

Deals can be deleted from the deal page in V1. Navigate to the table, search for the customer name, scroll to the far right, and click the red trash can icon.

Note: Deleted deals will still appear in the V2 deal pipeline view (partnername.enerflo.io/deals). The only way to remove a deal from that view is to mark its status as inactive rather than in progress. Consider using this approach instead of deleting if you simply want to clean up the pipeline — see How To Place a Deal On Hold to Remove From the Pipeline for more details.

Deleting a User

Super admin or company admin permissions are required to delete a user. Enerflo Support does not delete users but can provide further guidance if needed.

  1. Navigate to Your Roles > Sales Company > Company Users and search for the user by name.

  2. Click the red trash can. A screen will appear prompting you to reassign all of the user's deals to another sales rep.

  3. Select the rep to reassign to and confirm. If this step is skipped, deals will need to be manually reassigned one by one.
