Available Products
Sungage is an integrated financier offering solar loans. Available products and rates pull directly from Sungage via API and vary by installer agreement — not all products will be available for all installers.
Sungage offers several loan types. The specific products available to a given installer depend on their agreement with Sungage:
Classic, Classic-18, Sungage Advantage — loan options with a Deferred Payment Portion (DPP); terms vary by installer agreement. Re-amortization timing is determined by the installer's Sungage program.
Sunrise — an escalator loan product. See the Sunrise Escalator section below.
Contact Sungage directly for specifics on which products and re-amortization schedules apply to your account.
Battery-Only Loans
Sungage now supports battery-only loans for deals with no solar component. The available loan products are the same as standard solar loans, but Sungage applies stricter eligibility requirements for battery-only — available terms may differ from what you see on solar deals.
When a proposal is created for a battery-only deal (no solar detected), Enerflo will automatically filter the displayed products to those eligible for battery-only. No additional configuration is required, and no sync is needed — the products themselves are unchanged.
To run a battery-only deal with Sungage, use the standard deal flow. When creating the proposal, select a battery-only design and choose Sungage as the financier. Only eligible products will be shown.
Sunrise Escalator
Sunrise is Sungage's escalator loan product, available in 20-year and 25-year terms at a fixed interest rate. The monthly payment increases 2.9% annually while the interest rate remains the same for the life of the loan, resulting in the lowest starting monthly payment of any Sungage loan product.
Sunrise is available in most states. To check current state availability, refer to the product list after syncing in Enerflo.
💡 Note: Sunrise products will only appear in Enerflo if the partner has the product enabled in their Sungage portal.
To enable Sunrise in Enerflo:
Contact Enerflo Support to request that Sunrise be enabled in your Sungage plugin.
Enter the default Sungage Username in your Sungage plugin.
Go to Settings > Org > Plugins > Sungage
Enter the admin email for your Sungage user account. If this is not done, you will see errors when running Sungage deals or syncing rates. An error you may see is "The default Sungage user account set for this plugin is not verified"
Once enabled, go to Settings > Pricing > Finance Options > Sungage Finance and click Sync to pull the latest products.
Once enabled and synced, Sunrise will appear as a selectable finance product on the proposal stage alongside other Sungage options.
Finance Application
Sungage applications must be completed within Enerflo — there is currently no option to email the application to the customer to complete on their own device.
Before a rep can price or submit a Sungage application, Enerflo validates their Sungage account credentials. The proposal will display one of three states:
Invalid Credentials — the rep either doesn't have a Sungage username set in their Enerflo profile, or it doesn't match a valid Sungage account. Click Sungage Finance Settings on the proposal, or navigate to User Profile > Integrations > Sungage override settings to update.
Account Not Verified — the rep has a Sungage username set but hasn't completed verification in the Sungage portal. Click Verify My Account to complete this step.
If an account is not verified, the following steps must be completed:
User needs to be added by a manager & assigned a role/permission set
The user needs to complete Sungage's Code of Conduct
The user needs to setup their login (either username/password or social login) and verify their email
The user needs to pass the Sungage certification/quiz
The user needs to complete verification with Recheck
Then and only then is the user fully authorized to sell with Sungage, either in our portal or via API.
Verified — the rep is fully validated and can proceed with pricing and submitting applications.
When a customer is approved and loan documents are signed, the deal status updates automatically in Enerflo. If webhooks are missed, Enerflo runs an automatic check every 24 hours to confirm whether loan docs were signed.
State Tax Disclosure
In states where Sungage applies state taxes to the loan gross price, a disclosure line will appear on the proposal indicating that the gross price may include applicable state taxes. This disclosure is shown globally across all states — its presence does not mean taxes are being applied to a specific deal.
Enerflo does not calculate or add state taxes. When taxes apply, Sungage provides the tax-inclusive amounts directly via API. No action is required from the rep.
Syncing Products
Sungage products and rates pull via API and should be kept in sync to reflect the latest available options. An org admin can sync at any time by navigating to Settings > Pricing > Finance Options > Sungage Finance and clicking Sync in the upper right.
After syncing, admins can set individual products to Active or Inactive and adjust dealer fees and targeting rules as needed.
Troubleshooting
Error: "solarSize must be greater than zero"
This error indicates the finance product being submitted requires a solar system size greater than zero. If you encounter this error on a battery-only deal, check whether the selected Sungage product supports battery-only (see the Battery-Only Loans section above) — not all Sungage products may be eligible. Switch to an eligible product or contact Sungage for guidance on supported configurations.
Lender showing unavailable after equipment change
If you change the equipment on a deal (for example, switching from standard panels to EcoFlow or a battery-only configuration) and a lender that was previously available now shows as unavailable or red in the proposal, the platform may not have re-evaluated eligibility yet.
Re-run the hints system by updating the consumption profile on the deal (for example, change the monthly usage value slightly), then change it back to its original value and save. This triggers a fresh lender eligibility calculation and should cause the lender to re-evaluate and turn green if the equipment combination is actually eligible.
💡 Note: If the lender remains unavailable after this, the equipment combination may genuinely not be supported — check the lender's equipment eligibility requirements or contact Enerflo Support. This workaround applies to any lender eligibility re-evaluation triggered by equipment changes, not just Sungage.
