Adding Your License Number

Before using Thrive, make sure your license number is configured correctly. Missing or incorrect license numbers will cause errors when creating proposals with Thrive as the lender.

  1. Click your name in the top right corner and select My Account.

  2. Open the Licenses tab and click Add New.

  3. Select the state your license is valid in, enter the license number and expiration date, and click Save.

For full details on managing license information, including admin workflows and permissions, see Managing License Information.

Available Products

Thrive offers two PPA structures:

  • Monthly PPA — standard monthly payment with an escalator rate. The customer pays a fixed rate per kWh produced, with payments increasing at the agreed escalator annually.

  • Prepaid PPA — the customer pays upfront for the full term of the agreement. Pricing caps are state-specific and applied automatically when pricing is calculated in Enerflo.

Thrive also offers battery-only options for each product. Availability is dependent upon state and utility.

States Available

Thrive is currently available in California, and is expanding into more states in the coming months.

In California, a battery is required.

Deal Requirements

  • The customer's utility bill must be uploaded at point of sale

  • All Thrive projects must be sold with domestic content eligible equipment only

  • Thrive will finance ground mounts

  • Thrive will finance add-on batteries to existing systems

  • Thrive will finance expansions to existing systems as well as second systems

  • Single family homes up to a 4-plex are permissible

  • Pool financing: Thrive's PPA does not permit the system's energy to be used for heating a swimming pool. Swimming pool load may be excluded when sizing the system.

Approved Equipment (AVL)

All equipment must be domestic content eligible. The current AVL can be found here.

Application Flow

Follow these steps to complete a Thrive deal in Enerflo:

  1. Create the deal — Enter the customer's contact information and project address.

  2. Title Check — Required for all Thrive deals except projects in Puerto Rico. Verifies the customer's name matches the title of the home.

Land use confirmation: If the Title Check returns a land use type that is not on Thrive's approved list, you will be prompted to confirm the land use before the stage can be completed. This is a required step — the financing stage will not be accessible until confirmation is recorded.

If the home is held in a trust, the trust must be added as a co-signer in the financing stage.

Note: Title Check is not available for Puerto Rico addresses. For PR deals, skip this step and proceed directly to Consumption Profile.

  3. Consumption Profile — Select the utility, pre and post-solar rate schedules, and fill in usage. Upload the utility bill before moving on — it is required for project submission.

  4. Design — Create a design using one of Enerflo's integrated tools or a manual design of your choice.

  5. Proposal — Select your design and adders, choose Thrive as the financier, and select the financing product. View the policy map to determine if the project is in an energy community and indicate yes or no. Select an escalator rate. Click Save and Update Pricing to confirm.

If any rebates have been added to the deal and marked with a Rebate Mapped Value, Thrive will factor those rebates into the pricing calculation automatically. No additional action is needed.

  6. Financing — If a co-signer is needed (e.g., property held in a trust), select Add Co-Signer, enter the contact's details, and click Save. Click Generate Documents. The homeowner will receive an email to sign financing documents through Docflo. The financing stage updates automatically once documents are signed.

  7. Welcome Call — Record the call. Click Start, read through each question with the homeowner, mark them off as you go, and click Confirm when complete.

  8. Contracting — Send the homeowner the install agreement and any other required forms. The stage updates once everything is signed.

  9. Thrive Requirements — Upload a photo of the homeowner's driver's license and the welcome call recording.

  10. Project Submission — Final verification that all required documentation is complete. When all checkboxes display green, click Submit Project. Note: this milestone is referred to internally as M1. Once a Thrive project reaches this point, the proposal can no longer be unfinalized — see the note below.

Unfinalize Restrictions: To protect signed financing documents, Enerflo blocks the Unfinalize action on Thrive deals once the project reaches milestone M1 (Project Submission). Before M1, proposals can be unfinalized normally. After M1, the Unfinalize option is removed, and any required changes should go through Enerflo Support or a change order.
