If you need to delete a Charge on a Customer's Account (a Charge or Charge Item is anything that you plan to charge money for. Think tuition, registration fee, deposit, book fees, t-shirts, late fee, etc.) Follow these steps to delete a Charge.

Step 1 - Billing Page

On the Billing page of a Customer Account, find the Charge (i.e., Tuition, fee, etc.) in the Transaction History (NOTE: Charges are in red). Click the three dots (to the far right) on the Charge.

Step 2a - Charge Added in Transaction History

If the Charge was added directly to the Transaction History (that is, it is NOT part of an Invoice), then the Edit option will appear.

edit a charge in Enrollsy

Click Edit. In the new window that opens, click Delete transaction to delete the transaction (Charge):

NOTE: Be careful before deleting a Charge in the Transaction History. If you accidentally delete a Charge and have to add it back, you will have to create an Invoice with the original due date (however, the posted date will be the date you re-created the Invoice.

Step 2b - Charge as part of an Invoice

If the Charge is part of an Invoice, after clicking on the three dots beside the charge, the option "Go to Invoice" will appear.

This will take you to the Invoice this Charge is on. On the Invoice, you can then click Edit. In the new window that opens, click Delete transaction to delete the transaction (Charge):

Once the Charge is deleted, it will no longer show on the Transaction History or on that Customer's Invoice.

NOTE: Editing on transactions older than 18 months will be restricted. Editing is restricted for any transaction that is beyond this time frame because if something is changed too far in the past, then the account balance will break. This includes the ability to remove credits or charges from an invoice, as well as the option to delete transactions. We suggest adding a credit to balance out the account.
