NCAAB March Madness Men's Bracket Format on Private (Self-Managed)

Men's March Madness Brackets (Self-Managed)

Men's Brackets allow commissioners to run a traditional NCAA Tournament bracket in a private, self-managed format.

What options commissioners have

Commissioners can choose from the following options when setting up their Men's March Madness Bracket:

  • Create a brand-new Men's Bracket contest

    • New Men's Bracket contests are created on the Private (Self-Managed) platform and are fully managed by the commissioner.

  • Restart an existing Private (Self-Managed) Men's Bracket contest

    • Existing Self-Managed Men's Bracket contests from prior seasons can be restarted and reused.

  • Restart an existing OfficeFootballPool (OFP) Men's Bracket

    • OFP Men's Bracket contests can be restarted and will be migrated to the Private (Self-Managed) platform.

Noticeable Settings That Will Not Be Incorporated on our Self-Managed Platform that Was Once on OfficeFootballPool:

Notable settings on OFP that are not available on Splash Sports:

  • The ability to give an entrant bonus points for getting an entire region correct

  • The ability to give an entrant bonus points for getting all the matchups between specific seeds in the first round correct

Important notes

  • Men's March Madness Brackets are Private (Self-Managed)

  • Entry fees (if any) must be collected outside the platform

  • Splash Sports does not host real-money bracket contests

  • Some legacy scoring settings from OFP are not supported on the Self-Managed platform
