The Double Pick Days feature allows commissioners to require members to make two picks instead of one on selected days of the tournament. This option increases difficulty and can accelerate eliminations early in the contest.
Where to Find the Double Pick Setting
To configure Double Pick Days:
Open the Commissioner Console
Navigate to Contest Settings
Select Pick and Scoring Settings
Go to Double Picks
Choose Select Double Pick Days
How Double Pick Days Work
When enabled for a specific day:
Members must submit two valid picks for that day
Both picks must meet the contest's objective (WIN or LOSE, depending on settings)
Failure on either pick may result in elimination (based on contest rules)
This creates a higher-stakes day compared to standard single-pick rounds.
Availability Restrictions
Double Pick Days are only available for Days 1-4 of the tournament. They cannot be applied to later stages of the contest.
Important Locking Rule
Once any member has submitted double picks for a selected day, the setting cannot be changed back to a single pick for that day. Be sure your selection is final before members begin submitting picks.
Why Use Double Pick Days?
Commissioners may choose this option to increase early elimination rates, add strategic complexity, and keep the contest competitive. It is especially useful for very large contests.
Best Practices
Announce Double Pick Days to participants in advance
Confirm the setting before inviting members to submit picks
Avoid changing settings once activity has started
Summary
Double Pick Days require members to make two selections on designated early tournament days (Days 1-4). Because the setting locks once picks are submitted, careful planning ensures a fair and smooth Survivor contest experience.
