Only One Commissioner Per Contest
We currently do not support co-commissioners within contests.
Only the primary commissioner who created the contest has access to the Commissioner Console. Other members — even if they're helping manage the contest — will not see this tab, regardless of how involved they are.
How Do I Become a Commissioner?
To be a commissioner, you must either:
Create the contest yourself, or
Request a commissioner transfer through support (see below)
Transferring Commissioner Access
If you'd like to transfer commissioner access to another user:
Email support@splashsports.com
CC the current (primary) commissioner
Include:
The contest name
The new commissioner's name/email
Once we receive confirmation from the current commissioner, we'll update the contest. Transfers always require approval from the current commissioner — support cannot make this change without it.
Alternatives for Managing Contests
While only one commissioner is allowed, there are alternative ways to manage contests effectively:
Sharing the Contest Link: The commissioner can share the contest link with participants, allowing them to join and manage their own participation, such as selecting squares or other contest-specific actions.
Manual Management: The commissioner can manually assign or manage participant actions directly within the contest interface. For example, in grid-based contests, the commissioner can click on a square to assign it to a participant.
