If (you) a member accidentally deposits funds on Splash thinking it would pay for a self-managed (Entertainment-Only) contest, those funds are not applied to the contest entry fee.
What Happens to the Deposit
The funds will remain in the user’s Splash wallet
They can be used for:
Splash-managed (real-money) contests
Withdrawal back to their original payment method (if eligible)
Request a refund by contacting our team at support@splashsports.com
What the Member Should Do
Contact the commissioner directly to arrange payment for the self-managed contest (e.g., Venmo, PayPal, etc.)
If they do not plan to use the funds on Splash, they can request a withdrawal or refund
Important Notes
Splash does not transfer deposits to self-managed contests
Splash Credits also cannot be applied to self-managed contests
Summary
Deposits do not count toward self-managed contest entry fees
Funds remain in the user’s Splash account
Members must pay the commissioner separately for EO contests
