When an entrant submits a pick in a Shares contest, they have a 5-minute window to cancel it themselves — no commissioner needed.
Cancelling within the window
Each pick shows a "Cancel this pick" button with a countdown timer (e.g., Cancel this pick 4:40). As long as that timer hasn't hit zero, the entrant can tap it to remove the pick on their own.
After the window closes
Once the 5 minutes expire, the pick locks in for the contest. The cancel option disappears, and the entrant can no longer remove or change it themselves.
Getting a locked pick voided
If an entrant needs a locked pick removed (wrong bet entered, accidental duplicate, etc.), they'll need to contact the commissioner directly. The commissioner can void the pick manually — this isn't something entrants can undo on their own after the window closes.
