The timing of when you can pay your service fee depends on your contest’s start date.
When can I pay my service fee?
The service fee cannot be paid until your contest has officially started.
This means that two contests created around the same time may have different service fee statuses depending on when each contest begins.
For example:
• If your contest has already started, the option to pay the service fee will be available.
• If your contest starts tomorrow, you will need to wait until the contest’s start date before you can pay the service fee.
For NCAAF contests that have already started, commissioners should now be able to pay their service fee.
Why does it say “Service Fee Due Soon” if I can’t pay yet?
The “Service Fee Due Soon” message is an advance notice letting you know that your Self Managed contest will have a one time service fee.
You do not need to worry if you see this message before your contest starts. The payment option will become available once the contest reaches its start date.
How do I pay the service fee?
Once your contest has started, you can access the service fee payment option from your Commissioner tools.
If you are collecting entry fees through the Contest Vault, the service fee is waived, so you will not need to pay the separate Self Managed service fee.
