The tool is part of the Leagues module - a paid add-on for websites.
The News tool is where you can add or manage news posts / articles. It's similar to General Blog, but made specifically for sports. On top of that, games and audio uploaded through the Leagues module can be linked to the posts.
Key Points
The news posts / articles can be categorized under one of the four sections / categories:
Coaches Show
Game Broadcasts
Local Sports
Regional Sports
A game schedule and/or audio can be linked to the post.
The posts added in the tool can be tweaked at any time - to update the content or change their category.

These are the details for each item:
Filters - The one field can be used to search for an article within one of the four sections / categories:

Game Broadcasts
Local Sports
Regional Sports
"Add Article" Button - Opens the "Add Article" option, which allows you to add in a new article.
Below are what can be set up for the article:
Title - The title for the article.
Section - The section / category the article will be under. These are the sections:

Game Broadcasts
Local Sports
Regional Sports
Published Date/Time - The publish date and time for the article.
Source / Author - The name of the article's source or author.
Audio URL - The option to attach an audio file to the article.
Once attached, an audio player will appear below the field to test the audio.
Also, once you save the changes, the audio player will appear above the post's content on the post's webpage.
You can upload and select an audio file in the File Manager via the "Browse Server" button. For details on the File Manager, click here.
Excerpt - A short passage or quote from the post's content - like a sneak peak to what will be in the post.
Image URL - The image that will be used as the post's icon.
Article Body - The post's body content.
"News Articles" List - The list of the add articles.
Title - The title of the posts.
Section - The section the posts are under.
Published - The publish dates and times for the articles.
Source / Author - The names of the articles' sources or authors.
Game - The option to attach or manage a connection of a game schedule to an article.
Audio - The option to attach or manage a connection of an audio file, or audio added through the Audio tool.
"Edit" Button - Clicking this allows you to edit an audio item.
"Delete" Button - Clicking this allows you to remove an audio from the module.
Note: Once deleted, there will be no way to get it back. It is best to make sure there is nothing important in the article before deleting.
Deleting the item will not delete the audio file or game schedule that were attached to the article.
