Vacancies Page

Written by Glenn Jones

When viewing the Vacancies grid, Hiring Managers will be able to access any vacancies they have raised, as well as those they are an associated hiring manager against, or have visibility of. Approvers will also be able to access any vacancies that are awaiting their authorisation.

Vacancy Tools

Add Vacancy

+ Add Vacancy (Job Role) will start the requisition journey and the process for raising a new Vacancy by navigating to the Job Role grid

Filter

The filter is used to specify which Vacancies are shown and allows me to switch between my live, all live and hired vacancies.

Vacancy Title

Clicking the Vacancy Title displays the full Vacancy details.

Authorisers would access this page to authorise a Vacancy.

Filter Options

My Active Vacancies

This is the default view and displays all Live Vacancies where the user is the Main Contact or primary Hiring Manager.

πŸ€“ Tip a quick note on terminology. In practice there is no difference between a Live and Active Vacancy. A Vacancy must be Live/Active to be advertised.

Delegated Active Vacancies

Displays all Live Vacancies where the user is an additional Hiring Manager or designated Panel Member.

All Active Vacancies

Displays all Live Vacancies the user has access to - this will include those where they are the contact or panel member, but also those they have access to thanks to heirerchy and Role settings.

My Draft Vacancies

Displays all Vacancies that have been saved as a Draft where the user is the main contact.

Hired Vacancies

Displays all Vacancies the user has access to which have been marked as Hired due to all available positions being filled.

Inactive Vacancies

Displays all Vacancies the user has access to which are at an inactive status e.g. On Hold or No Longer Required.

Awaiting Authorisation

Displays all Vacancies where the user is the main Contact which are currently at an Authorisation status.

Awaiting My Authorisation

Displays all Vacancies awaiting authorisation where the user is a selected authoriser for the current authorisation stage.

For example, if I'm the normal Finance approver, I'll see all Vacancies which are awaiting my approval - Vacancies that are at a different authorisation stage won't be shown.

All Vacancies

Displays all Vacancies the user has access to regardless of the current status.
