In Premier, a sale document is used to bill customers before the end of month statement is created. The name in Essentials has been changed to Tax Invoice.

Transactions that have not been invoiced previously can be added to a tax invoice. A transaction can either be linked to a horse or directly to a client.

A transaction does not appear on any client’s financial record until the transaction is invoiced which can be performed at any time by creating a tax invoice, or as part of the month end process. An Invoice will appear on a client’s financial record unless removed.

If a transaction is invoiced, it is possible to reverse it if:

  • invoices have not been partly or fully paid and

  • the invoices do not appear on an end of month statement.

Transactions are available to be added to a tax invoice but only if the transactions are:

  • completed AND

  • not on an existing tax invoice AND

  • not on a monthly statement

The option to create a tax invoice is available under:

The option to view a tax invoice is available under:

Receipts for payments received from clients are no longer displayed on the tax invoice. When a deposit is received from a client, a receipt can be viewed and emailed from "Finance" "Banking" "Deposits"
