How is a movement set to Ready To Bill?

Ready to Bill is set by the system. For a movement in a job to be marked ready to bill it must meet the following criteria:

Charge to Horse

  • From – where the trip is leaving from

  • To – the destination of the trip

  • Amount – cost of the trip

  • Horse ownership is 100%

When a movement is charged to a horse, the tax invoice or bi-monthly/end of month statement created in the Month end process will be sent to the horse owner(s). If there is no ownership or the ownership is not 100%, then this must be resolved before the movement will be marked Ready to Bill.

Charge to Client

  • From – where the trip is leaving from

  • To – the destination of the trip

  • Amount – cost of the trip

The client is paying for the movement so the horse ownership is not required.
