Company administrators or accountants can add new users under an existing company account. Once a new user is added, they’ll immediately receive an email with a link to set their password. After that, they can start using eTasku right away.
eTasku’s pricing is based on user accounts, and billing for the new user will begin automatically.
This guide is intended for company administrators.
How to add a new user in the web portal
Log in to the eTasku web portal on your computer
Open the menu in the top right corner
Select “Company Settings”
Go to the “Users” tab
Enter the new user’s first name, last name, and email address.
Click “ADD USER”
After adding the user, they will appear in your company’s user list. The new user will receive an email with a link to activate their account and set a password. Once the password is set, they can download the eTasku app, log in, and start using the service. Billing for the new user will begin automatically.
If needed, you can also grant the new user admin rights by toggling the “Admin” option to green. Admins can view all receipts and travel invoices submitted by company users via the web portal and make changes to company settings.
If the user is not granted admin rights, they will only see their own data and won’t be able to modify company settings. In the mobile app, all users can only see their own information.
If your company uses an approval workflow, please remember to enable it for the new user as well.
Important notes
Do not create a new account if a user’s name or email address changes. Instead, the user should contact customer service to update their information.
These instructions also do not apply if you need to add a new accountant or auditor.
Error messages you might encounter
If you receive an error stating that the person you’re trying to add already has an account under the same company with that email address, please contact our customer service to make the necessary changes.
If the error says the person already has an eTasku account in another company environment using the same email, it may be because they registered independently before being added by an admin or accountant. In this case, the account exists but is only visible to the user for security reasons. Please contact customer service so we can investigate and take the appropriate steps.
