Eve's Quote Verification feature helps increase a user's ability to trust the responses from Eve. Here's how it works:

1. For any answer that Eve provides a quotation for, Eve runs a series of validation checks to verify that the quote is found inside one of the provided documents.

2. Each quote surfaced will be hyperlinked to its source in the documents referenced and annotated with one of the following:

* (Green) Success: Eve successfully identified the quote in the document. Users can click on the quote to jump to that spot in the document.

* (Yellow) Partial Match: Eve identified a similar, but not exact, quote in the document. Users should click on the partial match to verify.

* Not Found: Eve was unable to find a match for this quote. Users should manually verify the quote in the document.

Note: Eve cannot perform quote verification on quotes of less than 20 characters, as they might fit multiple locations across documents.

1. Always review the source documents linked to Eve's quotes.

2. For partial matches or not-found quotes, manually search the documents to verify the information.

3. Use Eve's Fact Search feature to perform exhaustive searches across large numbers of documents for specific information.
