Which charts does EVEN report to, and when?

EVEN reports your sales to Luminate (formerly SoundScan/MRC Data) for the Billboard Charts in North America. Sales are reported every Friday, covering purchases made during the previous week (from Friday through Thursday).

How do I get my sales reported to the charts?

To have your album sales on EVEN reported to music charts, ensure that your release includes a valid UPC for albums and ISRCs for each track.

Does EVEN provide UPCs and ISRCs?

No, EVEN does not provide UPCs or ISRCs directly. However, obtaining these codes is simple! First, check with your distributor, as they often include UPCs and ISRCs with their services.

If you’re a label or prefer managing it yourself, you can also apply for them directly through your local ISRC agency.

Are all sales eligible for chart reporting?

To make sure your sales count toward the charts, there are a few important requirements:

  • Albums must have a valid UPC.

  • Each track requires an ISRC.

Additionally, only sales made during the initial checkout count toward chart reporting—other access points will not be included.

Luminate also has minimum price requirements:

  • Albums must be sold for at least $4.99 USD.

  • Individual tracks must be priced at least $0.69 USD (or the equivalent in your currency).

Do I need to register my releases with the music charts myself?

No, you don’t! As long as all your information (UPC, ISRCs) is correct, EVEN will handle the reporting for you. We’ve got you covered.

Stay on top of these requirements, and we’ll take care of the rest to ensure your success on the charts!
