Kiosk Mode allows you to set up a device for self-service ticket purchases, enabling attendees to buy tickets directly from a tablet or device without staff assistance.
This is ideal for high-traffic events where you want to streamline ticket sales and reduce wait times.
Before You Begin
Before enabling Kiosk Mode, make sure:
A payment terminal is connected to the device
Your event has active tickets available for sale
Set Up Kiosk Mode
1. Open the mobile app and log in.
2. From the Events screen, select the event you want to manage.
3. Tap More in the bottom navigation menu.
4. Scroll to the Sell section and tap on Kiosk Mode.
5. Under Payment Terminal, click Connect to link your payment terminal. You can also select Create PIN to set an optional security PIN, which will be required to exit Kiosk Mode on that device.
7. Once connected, configure your Kiosk Mode settings as needed:
Enable discount codes : Allows attendees to enter and apply discount codes during checkout.
Check in after print : Automatically checks attendees in after their tickets are printed.
QR scan search criteria: Choose how tickets are displayed after scanning a QR code:
All tickets in the same order: Displays all tickets purchased in the same order.
All tickets with the same email: Displays all tickets associated with the purchaser's email address.
After you've configured your settings, click Enter Kiosk Mode. Your device will switch into self-service mode, allowing attendees to purchase tickets directly from the device.
8. Once Kiosk Mode is enabled, the device will display your event's self-service home screen. From here, attendees can tap Purchase tickets to buy tickets, Enter details to look up an existing order by entering their information, or Scan QR code to quickly access their tickets using their confirmation QR code.
9. After a successful purchase, the device will display a Payment successful confirmation screen. A confirmation email is automatically sent to the attendee with their ticket details and entry instructions. The attendee can tap “Tap to reveal your QR code” to display their ticket QR code.
10. Once revealed, the QR code will appear on screen for entry and check-in. Attendees can take a photo of the QR code to use at the event entrance. When finished, the attendee will tap “I’m done” to reset the device and allow the next attendee to begin their purchase.
