Fix Event Appearing Multiple Times in the Searchable List Widget

The Searchable List Widget in Evey Events & Tickets is a helpful tool for showcasing your events in a clean, easy-to-browse format. However, in some cases, the same event may appear multiple times, which can cause confusion for your customers.


Why This Happens

This issue typically occurs when your event has multiple ticket variants, and one or more of them have a specific date and time assigned, even if the others do not.

For example:

You may have two ticket types for the same event. If only one of them is assigned a specific date and time (e.g., September 19, 2024, at 12:00 PM), Evey will treat them as separate instances of the same event, leading to duplicates in the widget.


How to Fix It

To avoid this duplication:

  1. Go to the Evey app dashboard.

  2. Open the event that’s showing multiple times and go to the "Event Settings."

  3. Check each ticket variant under the Tickets section.

  4. Make sure all ticket types share the same date and time, OR remove the specific date and time from variants that don’t need it.
