This guide will show you how to export an attendee CSV file from the Evey app and then import an attendee CSV file back into the application.
Note: The "Import Attendees" feature is disabled for merchants during their trial period or the first 14 days of their initial paid plan.
To Export a CSV File:
Go to the "Attendees" page.
Click the button highlighted in the screenshot below to export the file.
β
The file generated from the app will look like this; as you can see it contains an in-depth amount of information on every attendee for your event.
To Import a CSV File:
Now to import a CSV file for your event, you want to use a CSV file that looks like the following.
The most important part here that may cause issues if not appropriately followed is ensuring that the "variant_title" exactly matches the name of a "ticket type" you are selling for your event.
Now you can go back to the import CSV file option on the "Attendees" page. Once there, choose the file you created, or drag and drop it into a specified area.
βOn the next screen, you'll see options for your CSV file import that can be customized to suit your needs; you can also use the circled areas in the screenshot below to select the values represented in your CSV file.
βOnce you click to import, the file will begin importing.
If there are any issues, you'll receive an email detailing the line numbers of attendees with problems. Note that newly uploaded attendees may appear in reverse order in your list, as they are created top-to-bottom according to the CSV file.
