Exporting Attendees to CSV with Evey Events & Tickets Limit
Updated over 5 months ago

Evey Events & Tickets is an app that allows you to create and manage events, sell tickets, and track attendees for your Shopify website. One of the app's features is exporting attendee data to a CSV file. However, there is a limit on the number of attendees that can be exported simultaneously. This article will discuss this limit and provide a workaround for exporting more than 10,000 attendees.

Why does Evey Events & Tickets app only provide 10,000 Attendees for a CSV File?

Evey Event & Tickets is limited to exporting attendees to an Excel file. The limit is set at 10,000 attendees due to technical limitations for performance reasons. This means that if you have more than 10,000 attendees for your event, you cannot export all of them to a single CSV file simultaneously.

Workaround for Exporting More Than 10,000 Attendees

If you have more than 10,000 attendees and need to export all of them, you can create filters by ticket number and export them in batches. Once you have exported all the batches, you can then compile them into a single Excel file.

Here are the steps to follow in exporting attendees in batches:

1. Open Evey Events & Tickets app and go to the event you want to export attendees for.

2. Click on the "Attendees" button at the top (or Actions>Attendees).

3. Click the "More filters" button on the right.

4. Click "Ticket number range" and enter 1 and 10000 in the "Start" and "End" fields, respectively and click "Apply."

Note: If you have 20,000 attendees, you can export the first 10,000 attendees in one batch by entering the ticket numbers 1-10000.

5. Select all attendees by clicking on the first checkbox and "Select all 20+ attendees in your store"

6. Click "Actions" and "Export attendees."

7. Enter the email address you want to send the CSV file to and click "Export attendees."

8. Repeat steps 3-7 for the remaining batches of attendees.

Once you have exported all the batches, you can compile them into a single CSV file by copying and pasting the data from each file into a new one.
