If you are somebody who plans to manage (or manage) multiple LinkedIn accounts on Expandi that belong to clients, you might be wondering how you can connect their LinkedIn accounts on Expandi without asking your client to share their LinkedIn password or credentials with you. This can be done by sending an invitation to the client to add their LinkedIn account and enter their credentials themselves.
Please see the video or follow the steps below to invite the user to add their LinkedIn account:
Click on the + Add new button and select an option Invite member:
This can also be done by clicking on the + icon next to the Members menu option on the left side of the screen:
Under the Type of Invitation drop-down menu, select the option Invite to input LinkedIn account credentials:
Enter the email address of the invitee. This would be the email address where the client receives an email with the invite to add their LinkedIn account and a clickable link to do that. Once the email is entered, click on the Invite and continue button:
Next, you'll have to select the company on Expandi to which the LinkedIn account will be added. Once you select it, click on the Confirm button:
You'll receive a confirmation that the invite is sent.
The invitation to add their LinkedIn account on the recipient's end will look like this:
Once the recipient clicks on the Add account button or the link below it, they will be taken to the steps to add the account. They won't be required to create a login account or sign in to Expandi.
Once they click on the 'Add account' button or the link sent to their email address, they'll be able to start adding their LinkedIn account:
If they want to keep your account logged in, they should check the box for 'Stay logged in. ' This will take them through the setup for their LinkedIn account's 2FA integration to Expandi. Please learn more about it here.
Keep in mind that the owner of the workspace that the invitation to add a LinkedIn account was sent from must have an available active seat (subscription) on their Expandi account for the client to add their LinkedIn account successfully.
