The Cost-Effectiveness Explorer team is excited to announce that we have improved your requirements page for existing building policies!
Existing building policies have two possible compliance methods, prescriptive and flexible, which previously were hosted on two separate screens. Prescriptive compliance requires that permit applicants install whichever measures you have set as mandatory. Flexible compliance allows permit applicants to choose from a menu of measures that work best for them, that add up to a required energy savings score that you have set.
Now, we've combined these into a single, user-friendly screen, making policy creation more straightforward. If you have an existing buildings policy from October 4 2023 or before, you can transition your policy to our new format. To learn more, check out our comprehensive guide here.
