Understand how to convert your files to upload them to Fair HQ.

We ask that you upload your Required Documents as PDF, JPG or PNG. You can read more about that here.

It's possible that your documents are in a different format. Below we'll look at some common file types and how to convert them for uploading to Fair HQ. If your file type isn't listed or you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us using the chat icon at the bottom right-hand side of the screen.

Microsoft Word to PDF

Microsoft introduced the ability to save a file as PDF from Microsoft Word 2010 and onwards.

  • Open the document you wish to convert in Microsoft Word

  • Click "File" in the top-left corner of the Word window.

  • Click "Export" in the left-hand column of options.

  • Click "Create PDF/XPS Document", and then again in the new middle window that appears.

  • In the pop-up window, select a save location.

  • Click "Publish" at the bottom-right corner of the window.


Google Docs to PDF

  • Open the document you wish to convert in Google Docs

  • Click "File" in the top-left hand of the webpage

  • Hover your mouse on "Download", and then "PDF Document"

  • The PDF file will be downloaded to your default Download location


Apple Pages to PDF

  • Open the document you wish to convert in Pages

  • Click "File" in the menu bar at the top of the screen

  • Hover your mouse on "Export to" and then PDF

  • In the pop-up window, choose any settings you'd like for your export and click "Next"

  • Choose a title and save location for your file, and click "Export"
